Microneedling in Fishers, Indiana
Microneedling — properly, collagen induction therapy — creates controlled micro-channels in the skin. Your body reads them as injuries worth repairing, and the repair is the point: new collagen, firmer texture, softened scarring.
It is the treatment to book when the problem is the surface of the skin itself rather than what is sitting on it.
What it treats
Fine lines, acne scarring, pigmentation and general texture — the things that do not respond to cleansing and hydration because they sit in the structure of the skin rather than on top of it.
Results build rather than arrive. Collagen takes weeks to lay down, so the skin you see a month after a treatment is the result, not the skin you see the next morning.
Downtime, honestly
Expect to look flushed, a little like mild sunburn, for a day or so. You leave with post-care products to use for the three to five days afterwards, and you should plan around sun exposure and skip actives while the skin settles.
This is not a treatment to book the day before an event. Give it a fortnight.
What actually happens
- Cleanse the face and neck.
- Numb the treatment areas — typically the whole face.
- Remove the numbing cream with alcohol to sterilise the area.
- Adjust the depth of the micro-needles based on the area being treated and your goals.
- Begin microneedling, using peptide and growth factor serums — roughly 30 minutes.
- Rest under the LED panel for 15 to 30 minutes to speed healing.
- Leave with post-care products to use for the next three to five days.
Who it’s for — and how Erin adapts it
Every skin is starting from somewhere different, and depth, pace and timing are all adjustable. The list on the right is what to mention so Erin can set the treatment up around it.
Come in for
- Acne scarring and uneven texture
- Fine lines and early loss of firmness
- Pigmentation that hasn't responded to surface treatment
- Real texture change, when you can give the skin a week or two before an event
Tell Erin first if
- Your skin is actively breaking out — Erin will clear and calm it first, then microneedle. Same plan, different order.
- You've had Botox or filler in the last couple of weeks, or you have a fresh sunburn — tell her and she'll schedule around it.
- You have an event coming up — give her the date. She'll either ease the depth back or book you far enough ahead that you're well past the pink stage.

“Erin is an excellent esthetician… She always has great recommendations for treatments that meet my goals but don't break the budget.”

Questions
Does it hurt?
The treatment areas are numbed first, so most people find it comfortable. You will feel the device moving, not the needles.
How many sessions will I need?
Texture and scarring usually respond to a series rather than a single treatment. Erin will give you a realistic number after seeing your skin.
How soon will I see results?
Collagen builds over weeks. The visible change tends to arrive around a month out and keeps improving from there.
Can I have it with a facial?
Not on the same day. Ask Erin how to sequence it with the rest of your routine.
